Sports Pavilion
Siwan, Bihar

The Parivartan campus in Siwan is a multi-cultural space that reaches out to more than twenty villages in immediate vicinity. One of the mandates of the institution is to coach football to girls and boys teams formed from the nearby villages. This pavilion is designed to seat about a hundred spectators for football, hockey, kabaddi and other matches or sessions at the field. The building also houses a small gym, table tennis tables and a few board games. The design of the pavilion takes into account the section of ergonomic seating and builds the steps into the facade of the building. The light, sweeping steel roof is oriented in a way that the stands remain perpetually in shade.
