The Ganges river valley is one of the most fertile river-basins in the world. For this site in Koliwar, Bihar, we propose an idea that the best place to study agriculture is amongst the fields. Through a simple, geometric frame, we create ‘Nodes’ or small buildings that occupy intersections between the farms with workshops, classrooms and terraces that will enable people to interact with the process of growing crops. The scheme also envisions some common facilities and by breaking the program down into smaller bits, we are able to create interesting, incremental spaces that can be added as per eventual requirements of the clients.
