This lecture outlines some core principles / values with loose threads to work – a reflective, introspective discussion on the ideas and efforts that shape our practice today.
Ruturaj Parikh and Maanasi Hattangadi founded MATTER, an interdisciplinary Architecture, Design and Publishing studio deeply invested in professional design discourse in India. Matter works in the interface between architecture and content consistently experimenting with new ways of engaging with the built environment.
Ruturaj is former director of the Charles Correa Foundation where he led social projects and public-forum initiatives. He is curator and editor of thinkmatter – a digital media platform for contemporary Indian architecture and [IN]SIDE, a bi-annual professional design journal.
